Chewy’s Hope Rescue, a Non Profit 501(c)(3) is an awesome organization that is based right here in Wise County. They work tirelessly to help homeless dogs in need.

 

Chewy’s Hope does not have a physical shelter, but rather utilizes a system of foster homes. When they take a dog into the rescue, the dog is placed with a volunteer foster. The foster can get to truly know the dog, teach it basic house manners, if necessary, and provide it much needed love and care while it awaits its forever home.

 

Chewy’s Hope is always in need of more fosters to open up their hearts and homes so the rescue can continue to save more dogs. The dogs are saved from overcrowded shelters that would otherwise be forced to euthanize for space. Without rescue organizations like Chewy’s Hope, many of these dogs would never get a second chance.
